Discovering your personal learning superpowers ain’t easy😉
Keep trying new things – and find what works.
Now, you are quite a special community of learners. Together you are bigger than any class, and yet you have more in common than random classmates👫👬👭
💡You all try to make your learning more independent – that’s why we’ve met.
💡You also try to make it more fun and engaging – that’s why we’ve spent a year together, and it only gets better😄
💡You enjoy visuals, too – that’s why we are on Instagram, not FB or Twitter!
⭐
So your ideas are always valuable. With too many tools & resources out there, it’s easy to get lost! And it’s easier to keep up together.

Choose ONE tool (a resource, a technique, an app, etc) that you use that really helps – and share it in comments👇
YouTube!! so many shows/documentaries, loads with English & Chinese subtitles too which I really appreciated in the beginning
Listening to Chinese podcasts (recently I’m listening to 反派影评 where they review movies)
Listening to audibooks (Harry Potter at the moment!) 😄 Watch Chinese dramas, try to write a small text with your own words. Always make yout own sentences to learn new words. The app Memrise is great! This is more than one tool 😉 Anyway, I hope it helps. 👍
For me, it is listening to the audio recordings of texts, making friends who are willing to help, and watch a lot of movies. A Chinese boyfriend/girlfriend would be the best option, I guess.
Oh, and I also write a lot in Chinese. I write about my day or my week, then give it to one of my teachers. I’ve expanded my vocab that way.
