Pinyin orthography is taken seriously on this account, and all the spaces, tone marks (and their absence) matter🌱

So in this link today, for me it was a discovery that if suffix “le”(了) follows an action verb (看), you’ve got to link them together:
看了 kànle (not ”kàn le”)
做了 zuòle (not “zuò le)
And if action verb and object after it express one concept, they are also linked:
看书 kànshū (not “kàn shū”)

Maybe these things are not as relevant to you if you only use characters, but i believe they lead to a more accurate pronunciation (intonation, pauses at the right times) – so it’s nice to be aware of these things.
