We looked at these two WeChat functions more than a year ago:
🗣 发语音 fā yǔyīn – to send a voice message
↩️ 撤回 chèhuí – to recall a message

Both are still relevant!
You can always 发语音 fā yǔyīn when you have a lot to say – and you can always 撤回 chèhuí your voice message if you said too much😅

发错 fācuò – to send by mistake; to send to the wrong person

How would you say “Oh no! I sent a voice message to the wrong person! How do I recall it?”

@yourmandarin: @taccraft 👍 You can make it more simple by using the phrase “发错了”: 我发错了语音 (or, if you wanna use 人, it’ll be a bit more complicated: 把语音发错给别人了)

@yourmandarin: @xiangtaozou 👍 you guessed it right! 撤回 is a transitive verb, so feel free to add stuff after it: 撤回一条语音，撤回一条消息
