1. Fountain / No Fountain

“这个公园里没有喷泉 Zhège gōngyuán lǐ méi yǒu pēnquán” (“There is no fountain in this park”) was the right answer to this Monday’s story. Only 45% (587👤) chose the right option! There is a pond there – 水池 shuǐchí – but no fountain.
This quiz was meant for you to practice the word 喷泉, fountain.
2. Fire Hydrant
消防栓在…水
Xiāofáng shuān zài… shuǐ
✅ 吐 tǔ – to spit
❌ 叶 yè – leaf 🍃
“消防栓在吐水 Xiāofáng shuān zài tǔ shuǐ” (The fire hydrant is spitting out water) was indeed the correct answer, as 75% of you (640👤) have chosen. Well done!
This post was meant to help you review the verb 吐 tǔ (to spit) from a post earlier this week. Character 叶 yè looks very similar, but has a totally different meaning!

This quiz did not have a correct answer – it was just designed to help you pracitice the word 精彩 (awesome, brilliant, amazing) in real life. And show what folks at Fuxing park do every morning😄
4. Toupai-ing or not?

Tāmen méi fāxiàn wǒ zài…
✅ 偷拍 tōupāi – take a picture secretly
❌ 自拍 zìpāi – take a selfie
“他们没发现我在偷拍 Tāmen méi fāxiàn wǒ zài tōupāi” (They didn’t notice me secretly taking a picture of them) was the right answer to this poll, as 70% (832👤) have voted for.
If you have no idea what this quiz was about – it meant to practice the new word 偷拍 tōupāi from a post earlier this week, and compare it with the verb 自拍 zìpāi (to take selfies) from… wow, from a post last year!
