When you use this phrase, always put it before the verb ‘eat’:

chènrè chī – to eat while it’s hot

zuì hǎo chènrè chī – best eaten hot

You can say it about drinks, too! For example, my coffee gets cold on the way to work in the morning – so there’s no way to 趁热喝 chènrè hē (unless you microwave it, 加热 jiā rè😁)
